My dear friend your letter certainly brought back memories of those relaxed Sundays spent with my husband.
Your piece is beautifully written. It show how the simple, the mundane can make you happy, just being with the loved it's a blessing.

I hope that the narrator's paradise remains untouched by the harsh winds of the time.It was really a beautiful presentation of a happy marriage, a day.
Had you not used the line"both of us survivors of the
slings and arrows of previous marriages." I believe, the narrative would not have lost any of its charm.It feels like touching the old wounds.

I did so enjoy your Sundays with You. The way you have with words, decribing what one could call a mundane weekend at home. Just being yourselves, lapping up the love and nothing to do' attitude of being happy and cocooned from the hustle and bustle of week days. Very good writing about your special weekends spent. You almost write poetry, I really like your style.
