Hi Helvi2, you have really captured the essence of nature within this poem, I truly like this poem as it takes me back to were I used to live. Your meter is slightly off but nothing major.
Best wishes,
Chris

Hi Chris, I know the meter was off a little, but I was bowled over by all the imagery my brain was receiving. I'm thrilled by your response to the poem and I'm so glad "you" enjoyed it. When I write I always hope that my words stir up your own personal images. I'm so glad I could do that for you. Thank you so much for your kind words. Helvi :o).

Hi beautiful. We have both been away
I liked this last line: As mighty storm clouds march right in and change our joy to woes
Fierce lightening bolts before the rain will strike a fearsome pose
Then lost within the ripples of the ruffled air that blows,
Are the beautiful reflections only stillness can bestow
I love thunder and lightning. They bring the spirit to new heights

Hi Bear, You bring a huge smile my way everytime you drop by. I enjoy watching the lighrning bolts too. I don't mind the thunder either unless it crackles. I had never been through a severe storm till last year. The thunder and lightening were very heavy. I have to admit I was glad when it was over.... I'm thrilled that you like what I wrote. Thank you so much for the kind words it's wonderful to hear from you again. Many Hugs sent your way. Helvi :o)

Hello. Welcome back! This is beautiful although I'm not ready to start thinking about fall just yet. We've had such a cold spring!! This is so wonderful in its rhyming and visual imagery. Just an exquisite piece. Thank you!

Hi Judian, I'm not really thinking of fall either. I love the spring and I'm so glad that it's here. I know a place where there are beautiful rhododendrens near the water. I hope I get the chance to go there and capture their reflections. I was going through some of the pictures I took and discovered the photo which led me to this poem. I was flooded with so many ideas, I had to write about it. I'm thrilled you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for your kind words. Bless You, Helvi :o)

What a great interpretation of fall. The beauty is something I have a hard time looking away from. Infact, I have a photo hanging on my bedroom wall of the lake across the street donning it's autumnal colors. Beautifully written. Noticing in your author notes you say that watercolors is seperated into two words, in the piece it is not.
