I'm glad you're feeling "up" again and have written this beautiful poem to celebrate it. The winter months can be really devestating to people like us can't it? I take medication which really helps.
The rhythm and rhyme of this poem is great and it flows (pun intended) beautifully. I can see it as I read it. Very well done.

Looks like you were inspired by the lovely water painting picture. I know the feeling in the fall when we stay at our lake cottage in the fall and see the reflection of the fall foliage upon the calm water of the lake.

Not only beautiful to read but the fact that it also makes so much sense and has so much feeling and meaning to me is just great a truly great achievement.

Hi John, Thanks for the wonderful smile you left me with. Believe it or not, it took me 6-8 weeks to write this poem because I kept discovering new words I could use to describe the image I wanted. I only had two verses of the poem,but had four pages of phrases and words. Knowing that this poem lifted your spirits made it all worthwhile. Thank you so much!!! Helvi :o)

Hi Mountainstar2, Thank you for your generous gift of a six star rating. I took the picture a couple of years ago. The foliage was incredibly beautiful. The reflection flowed on the water like liquid silk. I couldn't resist the temptation to write something about it. I'm thrilled you enjoyed it so much. Thank you so much for the awesome review. My favorite line? Do I really have to pick one, 'cuse truly there are many. Ok here it is: "Then lost within the ripples of the ruffled air that blows" Did you mention punctuation - where? That's alright a rarely use any anymore. Can a body say that - Any anymore?? This was capitivating (a word I seldom use) and I do not lightly say that. I know a great painting from hangin' with great artists. Don't sell this fresco for too little. Set the price high and remember, you can always come down - just not too far.

If you found my poem captivating I am on cloud 10. But ...Please excuse my discombobulated head it is a little confused about " I know a great panting fron hangin' with great artists.
