The first thing that came into my mind when reading this was
that here is a happy poem. An uplifting poem. This is a poem
that makes one feel better, yet was taken from the same
instructions as a preceding poem that was solid gloom. It
is good to be up-lifted as you read poetry, yet sometimes a
sad poem is good. It depends on the circumstances. I like
this poem. Thanks for posting. Excellent. __Morning Glory

Music can set the mood or change a mood. This poem set a mood with the following feelings as if the music was playing softly in the background as I read.
The poem gave a feeling of comfort. Peace and quiet
Warmth and love.
A smooth read.
Nothing to correct.

While I struggle rating poetry, I did like this very much. It seems to have a great message and was told in a distinct voice with an interesting, yet simple format. Good luck to you with the contest.

I think the "Inside Shadows" is distracting. Why? Because the rest of the poem doesn't continue the reference to shadows. Sort of an incomplete thought, with no transition from one section to the next. What kind of shadows and why? Above those lines, you mention emotions, after them you mention love and light. Maybe something in between that ties the two together, like "Inside shadows, a torch finds its way."
~ How did this writing make you feel?
Not being a poet or very religious, not a whole lot of feeling for me.
~ Was it a smooth read throughout? If not, where did it trip?

~ Were there any typos?
I didn't see any.

I really liked your piece, and I agree, God is watching. He lets us make mistakes to help us learn. I love the way you write, it is light and airey, maybe the font you use helps that point come across. Thank you for sharing :)

God watches from a distance, and from a distance everything looks so perfect. Like looking down from a plane. A very good contest entry.

Happiness, anything having to do with God is cause for happiness. I felt a sort of peace within as I read this. Reading about how he is watching over us and from the read, I get a sort of protection from it. I guess just the feeling of knowing. Excellent.
