I always regretted my musical talents were limitted to the harmonica, but I'm not sure I could hack all those scale practices. Thanks for the review

Great boogey-man story, but hopefully the children that read this someday will not be frightened! It read as a horror story, so hopefully the kids will be older when they read it ... LOL. I found it interesting how you changed font when the bogeyman and the little girl were together, and then to regular font for the rest. Took me a minute to get that, but now I know what you were doing. Great story.

What a delightful addition to the Bogey Man series.

You must turn into a child yourself from time to time in order to get the language so age-perfect.

The hand-underneath-the-sweatshirt trick was perfect! The Bogey Man is having such a good time. I can hear him giggling in the wardrobe.

I'm off to buy a sweatshirt for the read this weekend!

I actually did that trick to my kids when they little. It only works once, though.

Hi again snodlander. And another excellent episode of Annabelle and the Bogey Man. I'm really a fan of this pair.

I've got a couple of things I noticed this time:

... they weren’t prepared for the grisly sight that they beheld. - a surperferlous 'that' - not needed.

... dripping with congealed blood - 'congealing blood' - congealed blood would not drip.

And, this passage:
He awoke to hear their piano playing in the dead of the night. He crept downstairs to investigate the noise. They found him there the next morning, in his pyjamas, strangled to death - Hmm! How does anyone know he heard the piano playing? He was dead and told no-one! A bit padantic, but ...

Anyway brilliant story, and even with the little things above, I would have given it a six if I could.

Thank you. I'm chalking that up as a moral six. Yes, I thought about the congealed/congealing thing. I might have to revisit that. And of course, no-one would know that little whatsisname had heard the piano, but very few of these ghost stories are internally consistant. Perhaps the Bogey Man has inside knowledge.
