The dogwoods are magnificent this time of year as are the Azaleas. Your poem took me along that same trail and bought me close to God too. I see Him in our Pine trees this time of year with their crosses pointing to the sky. He has seen my suffering as well and made me better because of it. Your poem was well structured with beautiful imagery. Great job! V.A.

This is worth six stars but i can't find them! This is a brilliant piece of poetry with outstanding descriptions and stunning imagery. I loved it. Liked the notes afterwards, as well.

FrankieT

But six stars won't come up on my Rating box. why?

Hello Frankie! I am so pleased that you enjoyed my offering, but. . . . hmmm. . . you wrote that it deserves six stars, but. . . . well, something must have happened because. . . well. . . there are only 3 - which pretty much says that the whole offering is a wash!!! Yikes!! Take Care. . . I hope to hear from you soon! diane

Oh FrankieT. . . .if you only knew how many times my fingers press the wrong buttons you would be amazed! And I never know where my six stars are, either!!! Take Care. . . the most important thing is that you enjoyed my offering. . . I seldom write about God in such a public way. . .but I will never forget the dogwoods. . . and this Easter morn. . .
Be well, Friend. . . diane

There's nothing quite like the splendor of a blooming dogwood tree. They are gorgeous this time of the year in my area - Georgia.

Your poem is beautifully expressed. I'm thankful that regardless of what is going on in our lives - God is no stranger - He is a true friend, indeed.

Hi Mrs.KT,
The eye of the beholder, sees the beauty meant for the soul. What more can one say after reading your thoughts put on paper with such indelible ink. The Lord stays his hand, and He gives in aplenty. When confronted with the missing and with the times of loss, sometimes some things do not last, ephemeral being the ways of natural state.
Prayer, the only saviour to the right or the wrong...
Blessings from us,
Prem

What a beautiful poem, and an equally beautiful picture to go with it. Creation always brings me closer to God, and so it seems with you. There is such beauty, majesty and power to be seen and felt there, and your words paint a picture that can almost be seen. A great write for the Easter morn, when we remember what Jesus did for us with His death and resurrection. So glad I came across this poem. Verna
