Oh, Mrs. KT ... I am always delighted to find another Christian writer online, and especially one of your caliber. Wonderful work here. The Bible says nature cries out the character of their Creator, and you have certainly caught that here. I enjoyed so much every line.

I will be positng a chapter to my book, a Christian drama, with in a couple of days. I'd appreciate your review, if you have time and interest.

Thanks agian for a magnificent testimony to your relatinship with Him. MamaDeb

The poem reminds one of the long lost charm of childhood environment, trees and flowers, smells and beauties. they may not remain in our own backyard now, but somewhere in this world the beauty as also the spell it casts continues.

This is a truly beautiful poem

and is worthy of as many stars as I'm aloud to give

I read the notes also

and it's sad when a home and garden is no longer yours

after being tended with such love

I am so glad I chose this to read

thank you for sharing

I was so moved by your poem as you voiced emotions and feelings that I myself cannot always put into words, even though I also love to write poetry. Your structure, grammar and language were all exceptional and if this were a card I would buy it and frame it. Beautiful sentiment, wonderful content, a work of art in words. Thank you for sharing your art! God Bless
Kristin

Very nice. A good spectrum view of the walk of a believer from total awe and surrender to a feeling of betrayal and anger.

These were my favorite lines.
He will not go away.
He will not let go of me.
I cannot shake Him loose.
When I least expect it,
He makes His presence known.

Thanks for sharing this with us!
May you continue to not be a stranger to God!

THis is a magnificent poem about the power of God in the world: the obvious blaze of nature and beauty and the subtle workings upon our own souls. I like the form of the poem as well: the repetition of "I am no stranger to God." Very nice.

This was a beautiful heartfelt poem. Your words flowed like molten gold.
I can understand your remorse at seeing those beautiful trees chopped down. My mom had the most beautiful red maples growing and when their house was sold the new owner actually paved over her rock garden, removed the maples..making an area where her dog could go to the bathroom. This woman had a lot of class - this was done in front of the house...oh, well it takes all kinds for this old world to go round.....Sandi

Hello Sandi! I am deeply humbled and appreciative of your kind review. The new owners bulldozed the dogwood in November of that year. . . and now this glorious house - once showcased on symphony tours, looks like a "putt-putt" golf course - complete with donkeys pulling carts, gnomes, you name it; it's all over the yard. They bulldozed and my mom hadn't gone to live permanently at the assisted living center at the time. . . It was a nightmare. . . Again, thank you and I am glad you enjoyed my offering with such a wonderful rating. . . diane

You are welcomed. Luckily, my Mom never went back up to New York from Florida to see what had been done. As I was the one who sold the house for them I still feel quilty about choosing those terrible buyers. I would of preferred someone who revered nature in all its glory. But I didn't know. Sandi
