Heartfelt spiritual poem about God and how you have sensed his presence in your life. I liked your descriptive language. You expressed your emotions, the reader could feel your anger, happiness or rage as you described these situations. Nicely done.

Oh Diane, as I read this I was thinking "I hope this is a contest entry to the Spiritual poem contest" - I see it is not. It should have been. It is the most beautiful example of spirituality I have read. You acknowledge everything that is beautiful and things that are not, are all the hand of a spiritual Maker. This is a superb tribute to you relationship with the Lord. Mine is not always perfect either but I need him more in the bad times. I loved this and thought it the absolute best of all the spiritual poems I have seen lately. Extremely impressive.

Yes it sounds like you're not a stranger to God. I'm thankful that He looks at the heart and not everything we say or do. David was a murderer and an adulterer and yet, what did the Lord say about him? He said that he was a man after His own heart. I guess it's good that God didn't see all of his outward baggage to judge him by. The master probes deeper. He saw something else there. I like this. I like the message of faith and how inspirational this is. Well done Ms. KT.
