It is the ordinary and mundane things in life that will reveal the beauty of the world. My grandmother told me that when I told her life was boring. I think you've found a way to showcase her widom. Nice write.

You excel at answering challenges, Shelley--even self-imposed ones. This humorous work is no exception. And, of course, it's about one of my all-time favorite subjects...writing! (Dirty dishes? Did you peek into my kitchen?) LOL

the alarm goes off
the radio clicks on - I find nothing wakes me up except for my cellphone alarm
doing yesterday's dishes
and feeding the cat -oh dear...I have yet to finish mine
brush teeth and get dressed
shoe's are on – let's go - another day huh?
sometimes I just lie in my bed...and think "oh my gawd, I hate my job" "I don't want to get up" "just give a one day notice"- however then, reality clicks in, and it's like but how will I make money? exactly...*sigh*
