Like the song says: it's better to burn out then
to fade away, my my, hey hey. LOL
I'm not so sure what "white joy" is... or maybe
I am... is it a bodily fluid emitted upon
ejaculation? that's my best guess! :)

THANKS FOR QUEST REVIEW.

dark and black are too much alike omit one then there's 'dark' Repettition can dilutes effect, not increase it. Short-lived. Nothing wrong with that. Illusive, How can pleasure be 'illusive' else" illusionary? Which? What?
If is a condition, your 'condition is an opposite, Thus is impossible.

THANKS FOR GOOD REVIEW.

Hmmm this poem made me think of a not so well known Elvis song that happens to be one of my favorites, called A Little Less Conversation. Good job with the form and delivery of your message.

THANKS FOR LOVELY REVIEW.

Your poem flows with a dynamic interjection of words
"Happy with short-lived
Dark, illusive, black pleasure?"
My question is why the obsession with black and white?

Hi Alcreator,
Sometimes we think pleasure is more important than the white joy of life. It's true that dark pleasure can't out shine our need for something more stable and meaningful. But we are creatures that sin and take what we can get to make us happy. That is a sad state of affairs. Well done, chey

THANKS FOR SUGGESTIVE REVIEW.

Given your request for "original reviews", let me then, simply say this about that: Dark chocolate tastes better than white, and it's also much better for you. Neither has more longevity than the other, but black offers more.

What I gather form this somewhat cryptic 5-7-5 is that if people would only get a taste of "white joy" they would never again be satisfied with the tainted sweetness of sin's guilty pleasures. Thanks for making me think. -Steve

THANKS FOR THOUGHTFUL REVIEW.

This thought-provoking poem makes me think of people who reject the Gospel because they fear that being a believer will banish all chances of fun! They don't realize how much fun being a Christian can be.
