Uniquely formatted poem about a storm at sea that maroons the crew who cry for hours and old pop is revived on shore. All rejoice. They live on. Past trouble are forgotten. A saga contained in a few lines. Well done.

Excellent

The quick and clipped words move the reader in an interesting fashion. From despair to hope. The language style reminds me of the old animated Hobbit of the 80's and Golum's recitation of a riddle for Bilbo.

An excellent poem. You're going to hate my gripe - the picture.

Had I closed my eyes and someone read this to me, I would have envisioned sailors on rough seas. But the picture is a rustic house strongly contrasting a beautiful sunny day. Both are good - the poem, the picture - but they don't fit together.

Hi, enjoyed your thought inducing read. "Marooned hearts cry help for hours"-looked at this from the physical side-waiting for help- and then from the emotional. Ones marooned heart can cry long after help has been administered. And faith is such an important aspect in recovering from any "disaster" with sunshine the tool that warms one both physically and emotionally. Hope this all makes sense.
