Your exuberant poem makes me think of how people make a comback after a disaster--natural or by the hand of mankind.

I hear the cry for the waves of destruction to stop! Hurricanes! People drowning, dying, crying for help- complete disaster. Finally things calm- Comparing to those who live in sinful dark days and at end, find faith and new life.
