I guess the cockatoo gave her away, unless her husband is also the mailman. It could be. LOL I enjoyed reading this poem and the presentation was excellent. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Another fine write, Gypsy. Reminds me of the Rodney Dangerfield joke, "Are you kidding, I know my wife cheats on me, every time I get home our parrot shouts, 'Quick, out the window!"

Oh my gosh! You are killing it with the comedic endings here. I could just imagine the look of shock on the husband's face when the mailman is mentioned. I'll just bet the flag went from full mast to crumpled on the ground. Loved this. Gretchen

Well, no one says love life has to be dull. It is a passionate poem, I feel sorry for the cockatoo, but at least he gave some kind of inspiration.

Oh-oh. Is her "new sexy talk" because she's been cheating with the mailman? I would think someone who cheats shouldn't have a parrot or cockatoo in the bedroom!
