Your piece captures that sense of loss, that sense of a hole in your life when you lose someone you love. And then there is that frustration in the last line, your inability to make contact with them in heaven, from here on Earth. There is that sense of separation as well. Nicely penned with a clean, to the point, bare bones style. estory

Such a sweet poem for your beautiful Shynoa today. Planting a tree is a wonderful idea. Extra hugs for your loss across the way. May God's tender mercies carry you all today and always.

Hi, Sally. Yeah, we planted two Magnolias and a Dogwood and her ashes were at the bottom of all three. Thank you for your kind words and shiny six stars. They are deeply appreciated!
Have a great day, and God bless.

I hope you can have a wonderful and healing day tomorrow. Planting a tree in someone's memory is a wonderful idea. This poem was full of heartbreak and yet I'm sure the beautiful memories outweigh the sadness. Gretchen

This is such a sweet tribute, to celebrate birthdays after someone has passed so young. It's always difficult to think of all the things they could have done if they were still here but remembering what we loved about them while they were here is the most important thing. They lived long enough for people to love them and some would say that is living just long enough. blessings.

I am weeping now as I have to imagine losing a child. I would never want that treasure to be missing. Just a word and a prayer for strength and a wish for an abundance of great memories.

I'm sorry for your loss. Losing a lived one is so hard. Your words illustrate well your pain for your loved one. Very good job on this. I think our lost loved ones are with us each day.

Such a very sad poem of loss and grief, ongoing and so hard, as the days do move so slowly when one has faced the death of a beloved child. Very moving. I am so sorry for your loss, and I pray the tree will grow to be as beautiful and strong as she was.

This is a touching poem in honor of your daughter. It reflects so well the longing you have to hold her and how much you miss her.
Someday you will be able to give her a big hug. God Bless.

An the beauty of God is He can love us wherever we are, and His love is something that doesn't need legs to reach us, it only needs willingness from us to receive, beautifully written Mike, blessings Roy
