What a great friend and you know how to keep your good friends by spending precious time together! And with all that busyness and taking care of your hubby and kids, you made it and completed all 30 poems!
Congratulations!!

Thank you! You've been my inspiratio to give this a try, so thank you for that, as well.
Hanging out wiht my friends is my own therapy, as much as writing is... It's such a blessing to be able to dig into the weirdest part of my brain and let it out to roam! 😅
    Blessings,

Thank you for sharing this NaPoWriMo Contest Entry #28 challenge entry with us. My best friend and I go to Applebee's every Monday for lunch. I don't know what I'd do without her. I understand.

I'm with you. My best friend, Rita, had to take a job in San Angelo and, while it's only 80 miles away (close for this part of TX), we just don't get to see each other often. When she comes into town, she's with kids and grandkids. I was mourning her move and God put Jeanenne into my life iwthin a few weeks. She hasn't replaced Rita, of course, but has given me a new friend to enjoy , counsel, get counseled from, and all the other things friendships give us. :)
    Blessings!

I really enjoyed reading this poem and how you and your friends go to certain places for tea. That is really a neat thing to do. You used great descriptive words and very nice imagery from the art work you chose. Blessings, Teri

The artwork was created with an AI art program, so I cheated! lol

I loved your poem. It beautifully captures the warmth of friendship. I like how it highlights the simple joys of sharing moments and conversations over a cup of tea. The imagery of driving to your favorite spot and enjoying each other's company as you navigate through life's "colors and grays" is so nice to read.

Thanks so much, Michael. God has been good to put such great people in y life. I only hope I'm as good a friend to them as they are to me! They haven't dumped me yet, so... lol

I'm not surprised that you have friends like that in your life, Roy. You are a six-star follower of the Messiah. His blessings are often given in the form of wonderful people. 🙂
