There is so much beautiful imagery in this poem from a child's point of view.
'The corn maze was much taller
Than little ol' me.
A little ladybug surprised me
By landing on my nose.'
A lovely, innocent walk in the woods. Thank you.

You are welcome.

Amidst the sensory delights of nature, the child pauses to reflect on their connection to something greater, expressing a tender moment of prayer and gratitude. This introspective interlude adds depth to the narrative, underscoring the child's spiritual awareness and sense of wonderment at the world around them.

A beautiful entry for the Free Verse Poetry Contest. The poem sounds like its talking about things that a child might do or think in a day. The photograph is adorable and adds to the poems presentation. Good luck in the contest.

I enjoyed reading your poem. I like how you put in things of nature and God. The little girl in the tree is a good choice for the poem. Good luck in the contest.

This is a sweet poem from a child's point of view. The imagery is lovely and, of course, demonstrates the magical vision of children. they don't miss the beauty around us.
Best of luck in the contest.

This is a sweet poem, very descriptive, lighthearted, yet holding tender, serious moments, too. I enjoyed it very much. Good effort! Best wishes to you!

I had to think on this one for awhile. I read it twice. I looked at the great picture. I thought of the effort that you put into this poem. I read the poem for a third time, then I gave you six stars.

It must be great for you to give me six stars. It may have a chance to win something in the contest. I am honored that you gave me six stars. I changed it from what I originally wrote.

Extremely extremely beautiful. My favorite poems are the ones which turn me into someone else, but this one doesn't need to do that- it tells me i still have that child inside of me. really nice
