I worried about that, too, Barbara. I capitalize His pronouns but it just looked so wrong like that. But... I decided I was going to cap it throughout and it would look worse if I did it some places and not others. So... lol. I feel ya'!

Great job with your retelling of Jesus teaching Nicodemus by night. It's so cool to read about Nicodemus at the end standing up for Jesus and taking on the burial responsibilities with Joseph of Arimathea. Good use of the Swap Quatrain.

Thank you, Helen. This is one of my favorite events in the recorded life of Jesus. And the swap quatrain is my favorite form of poetry to write so it just seemed they should go together. :)

Oh yes Nichodemus went to confer with the Lord, I think He knew, but was afraid of the Jews, what they would think of Him, I was very cheeky, I'd been baptised in the Holy Spirit, spoke in tongues from the very waters I was baptised in, but I was attending a conservative church, they didn't like it, I left shortly after, It says, Born again is the opening of the eyes, entering the waters and receiving the Holy Spirit is completing the action of belief, it's not what we do, it's the outworking of what happens inside, we should never be afraid of what the world thinks, God is all. Beautifully written and declared, blessings Roy

Thank you, sir. Yup, we get so hung up on our understanding of the Word that we fail to realize our minds can NEVER contain all God is, all He can create, and all He has for us. Sorry that threw them for such a loop but you were obedient to the Spirit. So cool.

Yes, the book of John opens our minds to lots of needed knowledge. Of course, for me, John 3:16 always quickly comes to mind. Thank you for sharing another fine poem. :-)
