Yes, there is always a bond between mothers and sons, but those rough patches can be like walking on shards of glass, waiting for something to shoot out and bite you. Thanks for sharing.

Both my daughters have sons, they are so proud of them, and they are good boys, well behaved and good students, and one granddaughter. Also gifted and pretty, beautifully written Deb, blessings, Roy

    Those ties are hwat family is all about. It's tough when one of the grown kids is in a crisis not of his making. Harder still to sit back and wait for him to ask for more help than he's comfortable getting. It's a joy to hear from a man so proud of his family!

Yes, no matter how old our children are, we are connected with them and we grieve when they hurt and we cheer them on in new endeavors and just keep praying for them.
