First off, I want to thank you for serving the United States and all of us. Your poem "Highway" is saying to me, when we travel, it brings us to a new beginning of what we see and experience. When you write your trip begins, at full force you know your work will be good. Drinking fine wine
relaxes you and you write one last line. Such a well ending.

Travelling the highway, and ready for the rest and recuperation after a long day, comes across tome in your Minute Poem for the contest Bill. Your middle verse reminded me of travels with the kids when they were young, with thoughts of
'are we there yet'. Enjoyed your words and the memories it brought up.
Thanks Bill,

Thanks, Judi. Oh, we are not to eat the clover?

You're welcome. No, silly, you're supposed to eat the bees. judi

Okay Bill, now that you have rhymed every rhyme, noted of every line, tried your best to waste my time. Your efforts came close but were not sublime, I can only say, better luck next time.

Enjoyed your Minute road trip poem. I think you can come up with another last line - unless you are just having fun with the form. I'd say something like "on mem'ries dine." Of course, it's your poem!
Best wishes in the contest!
