Now what did your mystery story reveal with a 55-word count? I hope it is not a face, it is very sickening when people keep staring for some unknown reason at a person.

This made me laugh out loud. Good build up of drama, tension, the big reveal! Only to invoke the fourth wall, completely fizzling all the air out of the balloon.
