Yes, humans are the root of all evil from the beginning of man when Adam and Eve ate from the forbidden tree. I never thought of magnolia trees in the Amazon, but I guess they would. Everybody has a magnolia tree but me. GRRR. I happen to love them but for some reason, they won't grow in my yard. They do in my town, but not in my yard. I may try one again.

Another fine poem, Gypsy....and one that tells the unvarnished truth, WE are the biggest threat to the Earth. Makes me so angry when Republicans make fun of those who believe, selfish bastards

They say there is medicines we have yet to even dream of in that jungle. It amazes me that the Brazilian government refuses to back any of their own protection laws. I believe at some point, if the forest is to be saved, there will have to be an intervention from a superpower. Sucks, but they are allowing the human infestation.

Wish I had a plethora of sixes. As I said before, all of your pieces deserve them. You are such a talent.

I love the magnolia tree. The look, the smell, but they are very expensive. We kill our planet and wonder why things go wrong. We treat the earth as an ATM and act flabbergasted when people treat people that way too. Powerful writing. Karen

I love the name, Gogyohka, even though I can't pronounce it! Lol. The words in your amazing poem are straight to the point, and spot on. Humans are evil when it comes to the destruction they are causing. And it's not for a noble cause, either. The Magnolia tree in one of my favourites, and that is is a lovely picture.

The Amazon Forest is what keeps our planet alive, yet the govenment of the country allows the trees to chopped down willy-nilly, and because of that, the planet is slowly being destroyed. Why can't man let nature do its job? Greed, that is the only reason I can think of. Well done, my friend. Love and hugs, Sandra xx

I didn't get round to try and write an haiku last week, and haven't been on here much, either. I've been feeling so very tired for some unknown reason, and can't get motivated to do anything. But I'll get to it soon! xxx

Thank you for taking the time to write such a beautiful review.

I think feeling tired is part of grief and depression... it's natural. Just give yourself the time and be kind to yourself too. I know the feeling of loss. It's not as bad as a death but my ex-husband divorced me and I was so depressed I didn't want to live. It took me 5 years to let him go completely.

I pray you feel better and with more energy too.

    love,
