This 5-7-5, Welcoming Gesture, has the proper formatting and could allude to many things, including the first nod to the other side of when time gets shorter.

We all need support from time to time and managing life on our own can be a lonely journey. Since I have lived alone I have not always made the right decisions, but it is not without trying, we must never give up, a poignant write, love Dolly x x x

Wow. This is so deep! And you did so with just 17 syllables. I thought this was a powerful poem. I love the idea of reaching your hand out to darkness. Normally I expect that to go very badly! haha But not hear. That twist worked. Great job.

This was a beautifully dark piece of 5-7-5 poetry. You got the syllable count right in addition to painting this lovely mental image. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Hi, Mia. Thank you for sharing this poem. I think it tells a good lesson--accept help when you're going through a tough time, right? One thing I noticed is "I" is the subject of the sentence, so I would change "accepts" to accept. Or if you want to keep "accepts" change the subject to "My hand." ("I accept" verses "my hand accepts"). I hope that helps! I didn't understand the picture because of the creepy hand at the top. It made me wonder if I'm not understanding the poem right. If I'm not, you can tell me.
