Tucker can't count on Farnsworth to do what he tells he, He wants to kill some people. Tammy and TD managed to get away in time but El Mencho seems to have gotten away again. Nice writing. We got a bit of history of the Acapulco with this post. You don't post often but they're exciting when you do.

Thank you so much, Beth, for having with me throughout my long drawn out story, with big breaks between chapters. I know it can be disrupting. I'd just rather be reading your posts than writing my own. LOL. I appreciate YOU always!

I enjoy your story. I just got a message from Hump. I'm glad to know he still checks in. He was a interesting writer that always had something fun to read.

Oh yeah, you've still got it! When it comes to intriguing writing, you have no master. There may be someone who can match you, but so far I have not witnessed anyone better. I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole entire time I was reading the exciting adventure. Then just like before, the end and I was like "No, not yet!"

Thank you so much, Nomi! I always enthusiastically await your reviews. As the old saying goes, "Applause is food for the entertainer; and if that's true, I want to thank you for that steak and taters." I'm so glad you liked it. I appreciate YOU immensely!

I will take them as long as you can write them, because I know I won't see another chapter for a few years... okay, weeks!! Lol. And it's another cliff hanger! Ric, you can be such s wicked man sometimes. :))

I like it that Tucker won't commit cold blooded murder, that says a lot about him, but some of the awful sadistic things that El Mencho puts some poeple through, means he really does need to be removed from this planet. Give him to me, Ric, I'll sort him out!! Lol, Well done, another amazing chapter that I could get my teeth into. :) Love and hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Thank you so much, Sandra, for your wonderful six-star review and kind words. This is just the way an old boy entertains himself when his old body won't let him raise too much cane or cain anymore. Love and hugs back at you, my sweetheart of a friend.:-) Ric

Now, where's El Mencho? I'd almost forgot about this story. Thank you for reviving it. Please don't take as long for the next installment. This is a really good story.

Nearing the car, T. D. nudged Tammy, pointed, and said, "quick, jump in and scoot to the passenger's side." (Quick,)

Thank you so much, Barbara, for your generous review, kind words, and correction. Yes, I don't write much, so it's been about a month since I posted the last chapter. I seldom post more often than that. I spend most of my time reading others, like you. LOL. Much appreciated!

Great work. I know the feeling about finding a stopping point!
...and Johnny Weissmuller (Tarzan) - For my part, you didn't need to parenthetically identify him as Tarzan. I watched 'em all. But considering the poets on this site...
A grungy lounger sprawled in the hotel's rock-filled flowerbed, back propped against the building. - I really like this style. Some perfectionists might suggest 'his' back 'was' propped... not me.
"Just like you said, there's six guards... - some will prob'ly suggest ('there are') Not me. It's dialogue! That's the way he would talk!
Best to ya!

Thank you bunches, Wayne, for your generous review and kind words. Yes, I'll never win over any readers with my grammar choices, blunt
to the point writing with contractions, and left-out little joining verbs like are, was, and, and, HEE HEE, that I find obnoxiously unneeded in most cases. But I'm sure I'll get plenty of those suggestions, and will appreciate everyone of them trying to be helpful. Most of all, thanks for sticking with me, and I'm glad you liked it. I appreciate YOU!

Hi Ric,
I haven't followed this story from the get go, but it didn't seem to matter as you were really good at letting the chapter speak for itself. It was engaging and kept me riveted. I like your characters and their flawed natures. They are completely relatable.

Great cliff-hanger!
Take care,
Rhonda

I blush for not reading earlier. We have many common friends!

We do have a lot of mutual friends, so I already consider you a friend from just knowing about you. But I certainly understand that time doesn't allow us to read everyone. Thank you again for taking time out of your busy schedule to read my foolishness. :-)

It was delightful! Yes, I consider you a friend as well. After as, you have lifetime membership in the Good Ol? Boys club, lol. A friend of a friend and all that?

Rats. I wrote a whole review and lost it.
Anyway, I loved all the history on Acapulco.
Seems like nearly losing Tammy clarified Tucker's feelings for her. No if he can only figure out Farnsworth and his real motivation.

Thank you so much, Helen, for sticking with my long running story. And for your extra special six-star review and kind words. Sounds like you are spot on with where the rest of this story is going. Farnsworth certainly isn't who he has pretended to be for sure. LOL. The Acapulco story parts are true. John Wayne did give Fito Santiago his hotel. I appreciate YOU every day!

Oh my goodness!! Once again, my friend, you have outdone yourself. I've been so concerned about T.D. and Tammy's situation and now it continues. You certainly know how to maintain the suspense in every thrilling chapter.

Magnificent writing once again. I'm staying glued....
Sending you my best today as always,
Sal xoxo

Thank you so much, Sally, for your extra special six-star review and kind words. And most of all, for always offering up kind encouragement that motivates this old hack to keep slathering his goofy imagination all over the pages of FanStory. I appreciate YOU always!

Good morning... Oh, how I love a man who can wear a pink shirt! Thanks for the exhilarating car rides this morning. Especially enjoyed the entertainment - the divers, the atmosphere, and "the target shooting." Well done,,,but then we can not expect any less from Tucker. Well done!
Smiles and hugs, Carol

Oh, you're such a sweetheart, always patting an old hack on the back to make him feel good. Thank you so much for your wonderful review and extra star. I learn from you every day, but I've still got a long way to go. Thanks a million. I appreciate you more than my shaky talents can describe!

And which farmer gave you that pitchfork to be shoveling all the malarky my way, You my dear friend and Tucker shine when you take us through the bowels of evil and leave us standing in the glory of the sun. I love your writing and of course, your style.
    Hugs, Carol
