"Acapulco. Yesteryear's playground to the rich and famous." Also known, for good reasons, as the Pearl of the Pacific. Then, like most of everything that has ever been, the attraction was ruined by crime.

Doesn't diving at 55 miles per hour "between jagged cliffs" sound like the very thing you want to go out and do right now?

Good weaving of real life in Acapulco into Tucker's tale.

In "So, on the count-down order" would probably consider eliminating the word "So." This would make the sentence much more action packed.

"kidnapper's" should be kidnappers' because there are more than uno of them lurking about.

Awesome sight of the kidnappers' bullet-riddled bodies with their blood and tissues splattering.

"guttersnipe" - one of my favorite ancient words. In this context paints a strong illusion.

"flock" and "lie" should be flocked and lied to keep the whole paragraph past tense.

Farnsworth is correct when he told Tucker "we'll never be safe while he's (El Mencho) alive."

They better "Trust Johnny," and he better "know what to do" or Tucker, Tammy, and the rest are fricasseed meat.

What an unexpected cliffhanger to have Farnsworth the one who called the kill on the dead bodies at El Mencho's cabana.

The notion he may be in cahoots with El Mencho draws readers in to see where the action goes next.

Thanks a million, Brett, for all the stars, kind words, and advice to help me correct and polish up my foolishness. I was waiting to hear what you had to say, kind of wondering if maybe I shouldn't have used all the Acapulco descriptions before getting into the story. I'm always glad to get your reviews. I appreciate YOU!

This was AWESOME. Probably my favorite part so far. Apologize for the delay. Been ILL since last Saturday. But, will get over the ailment. See my oncologist tomorrow. Maybe my red blood cells will get their act together soon. At least, can hope they do.

Hello Ric,
I'd almost forgotten about this buddy. I'm glad you continued on. It seems like it's been a long time. I'm wondering why Tucker didn't want to eradicate the bad guys. It sounds like trouble is brewing yet. Lots of action. Good job.
Have a blessed evening.

Thanks, Tom, for your generous review and kind words. Yes, I don't post often, It's been about five weeks since I posted the last chapter. Hopefully one more chapter will close it out. That's the plan at least. I appreciate you taking time out to read my foolishness.

A fast- moving chapter with excellent action.
Could have ended the chapter after " repeated clicking of battery."
Good dialogue when used to help move the story along.
A nice pace and flow.
Thank you!

I always say this to you, but I'm so happy there isn't a stopping point. I enjoy every post, Ric. Your penmanship drips with enthusiasm and suspense.

I was wondering if Tammy and T.D were salvageable. That was my favorite scene!

Loved it all! Best, JohnC

Thank you so much, John, for taking time out to read and hanging with Tucker and his crew. I'd like to read about your crew in your profile picture, one of my favorite pics ever. I appreciate the stars and kind words, but most of, the fellowship with YOU!

About damn time! Great writing as per usual. Everyon mentions you as one of the best writers on here. We wish your health and pain and stress didn't interfere with you so much. I have piles building up to be reviewed but hibernation prevents me. Bummer.
Great work. Karen :-)

My bad. I HAD read this and now again, and am reminded of those movies with the cliff divers.
Holy moly, where have I been? This is the first chapter seen by me, so I went back and found the last was at the end of January. This is a slow-ending story. When was the first chapter written?

You've been around for the whole thing, I just didn't figured it was in your comfort zone. LOL. I don't post often, and I've even posted a few stories in between to break things up with this story, since the mostly action series could tend to get monotonous if I posted it weekly or even closer. Thanks for the generous review. Much appreciated!

Seriously? Divers jump from those heights into 12 - 19 feet of water. I wonder how many have died!

Wonderful, action-packed imagery: "in an explosion of shattered glass and splintered wood", "A hail of bullets riddled the kidnapper's bodies that shimmied and shook appearing to dance."

Well, one can be sure of one thing - you can't ever trust Farnsworth.

This has a good cliffhanger, and I'm looking forward to reading the next chapter SOON! That is my only critique - some of us elderly types have trouble remembering what happened between chapters, so you need to move faster:-)

I always enjoy your writing and hope to see more in the near future.

Seriously. Divers do jump from those heights five times every day into shallow, turbulent waters; and surprisingly, there has never been a death or serious injury in all the years. All the information I gave is true, including that John Wayne gifted his hotel at his death to his long time friend, who still owns and runs the hotel daily. Thank you so much, Pam, for all the stars, kind words, and suggestions. I appreciate YOU bunches!

Seriously now, Ric. You must know by now you have a HUGE fan base that waits patiently (and occasionally impatiently) for you to post another thrilling chapter. You NEVER disappoint. It's impossible for good writing to be too long. This reads quickly enough I was happy to rush back to the beginning and enjoy it all again.

You do know if we have anything to say about it, that Tucker's not going anywhere? We're addicted to him...and to YOU!

Thank you so much, Karenina, for your fireworks of stars and kind words. I like to think there are still a few readers who enjoy a little action and my foolishness, thank you for saying. You always make everyone feel good about what they write, and themselves, with your encouragement, which is one of your many talents. I'm happy to entertain and make you smile if only for a minute. I appreciate YOU every day! Whether it's your kind reviews, or reading the happy thoughts you spread wherever you go.

Thank you so much, Karenina, for another of your special reviews of encouragement and boost to a sometimes lagging confidence. If it wasn?t for you and a few others, I would have given up my foolish scratchings a long time ago. I appreciate YOU always!

You had me hooked. Darn it. Now I need to read from the beginning to catch up. If there was anything to edit I missed it, too busy reading the story.
Most excellent.

I didn't mind it being a bit longer - imagine missing out on that car racing around. Too thrilling. For I think the first time ever it took me a while to plunge into the action, found the background labelling of personae a bit much. kay

Thanks, Kay, for your generous review, kind words, and comments. I was afraid I might have offered too much with the roaming setup descriptions. But my true intentions were to sort of lull readers to sleep making the action seem more intense when it started. Sorry it didn?t work the way I planned for you. Much appreciated!
