You have done a great job with this section of your story. It is riveting reading and full of color and a fast-paced plot. You have stayed true to the setting and dialogue and I have really enjoyed reading it. Now on to the next chapter.

This is great. I love reading about piracy and adventure! Your writing does not disappoint. Your writing immersed me into what the crew of the Lady Rebecca were facing. Your descriptions are excellent. The dialogue works well. I could feel the fear and uncertainty. Great job. Your story easily held my interest.

A very good chapter. There are a few gremlins to edit out though.

notes:

A moment later, pirates led seven of our sailors below deck to our {brig â?"} including Keith and Thorne.

and that surely the pirates surely kept the captain on deck for negotiations.

Religious lessons I had learned flashed through my mind, too, while {Keith â?"} trying to be comforting or not, I don't know{ â?" said}

"Not yet sir, I been countin' the prisoners â?" ten o' them as ye like to know â?" when they tried to shoot me.
