I always get a kick out of the topics you bring up, something most anyone can relate to in some degree. LOL. Stories that most anyone can enjoy reading. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Rick,
it's good to hear from you. I'm never sure what I'm going to write about. I have strong political views, but I don't think this is the place to express them. We're so divided now, and it wouldn't do any good to say what I think unless someone opens the door and I feel the need to respond. I think we need more laughter. It's good for the soul. Have a blessed evening buddy.

I don't need a wax job. These past two years, I've been in the hospital so many times that I get a free wax job when they rip off the EKG connections. Also, I have had a mustache and beard periodically for fifty years. When I entered college, I had a hostile relationship with the owner of my off-campus home. One day, when he was out, I was shaving off my beard and got half of it shaved and the shaver died. I didn't want to go anywhere with w half-bearded face, so I broke into my landlord's room and borrowed his shaver.

    Hi Jim,
thanks so much for the highly entertaining review. I'm sorry to hear you've been in and out of the hospital so much. What you experienced with the shave sounds like something that would happen to me. You did what you had to do. I don't use an electric shaver, in part for the same reason I don't drive and electric car. What if the power goes out? Some things it doesn't matter so much, but a half shaved beard, now that's a monumental problem. Thanks for sharing your experience.
    Have a blessed day.

That was the last time I used an electric shaver, too! Bonus: Once I went to take a shower. It was just across from me. I had nothing but my keys. I put them on the toilet and when I flushed it, they went down! (They csme up again!)

Thank you for sharing this story with us. I have a niece that shaved her eyebrows off, and I did not understand that at all. We kind of need our eyebrows to look like real people, I think. You used great descriptive words and I even had to giggle at some of it. Thank you for sharing! Teri

    Hi Teri,
I think we look odd without eyebrows. A lady I worked with years ago used to pluck her brows out totally, then pencil in some of a different color than her hair. She looked a little odd, but not as odd as the gal that shaved hers off totally and didn't replace them with anything. Thanks for the great review.
    Have a blessed day.

It's always fun when we can laugh at ourselves, but it's even better when we can laugh at a sibling. Their screwups, especially one's that leave them looking like a cyclops, is far funnier than anything happening to us. My son has those eyebrows that grow like wild weeds and he often looks like he has horns growing from them...clip clip clip!

Smiles, Carol

    Hello Carol,
It's been so long since I've been home with my brothers and sister, I can't recall too much about what they may have done, although I do remember what my brother did to me. My youngest son decided to shave his head with some old Bic razors that I had, and of course had a number of nicks in his scalp. My daughter was afraid they would get infected, so she encouraged him to pour hydrogen peroxide on his head. She said it foamed up and looked like a Chia pet. He didn't find it very funny at all. It just hurt. Good lesson I guess.
    Have a blessed day gal.

Nothin' worse than tripping and falling by stepping on pit hair. Unless it's eyebrow hair.
I was driving along one day with my 50-year-old daughter in the passenger seat. She reached over and yanked out a chest hair that had made its way through my shirt. Kiddin' you not, that thing was 8" long! A chest hair! I don't get it.
Best wishes.

    Hello Wayne,
Actually, I do believe it. That's one monster chest hair buddy. It sounds like you could spare a few, and I wouldn't mind having more. I'd love to look manly, although at this stage of the game, I'm the only one who would be looking. I hope you hung on to it and put it behind glass in a picture frame. Can you imagine the conversations you could have? Thanks for a very funny review my friend.
    Have a blessed day.

I enjoyed reading this story. I'm still laughing about it. It was very funny. This was well written and so amusing. All the characters you put in the story made it even better. Great job.

Thanks so much for the glowing review Brenda. It's even funnier to me because I'm not the one who did it this time. In my life, I've had an uncommon number of incidents that I look back on and wonder how could that have happened? I've been blessed with a good sense of humor, which is great, because I think it's kept me from going nuts. Have a blessed day gal.

Touch of comedy thrown into the mix of this posting for good measure.

Pasting ear hair in for eyelashes. That would be a unique and scary sight, Halloween or not.

So true, we have all done stupid stunts. Some of us more often than once. A recent pulled muscle in my back can vouch for that assessment. So can the excruciating four days of pain that went along with the incident.

Mark's stunt making you look like a lady of the night sounds like something older brothers would do to younger ones.

    Hi Brett,
thanks so much for the fine review and comments. Ear hair to replace eyebrows would be scary, but I suppose it would be a step up from pubes. Mark always had a good sense of humor, and aside from a time or two, has been a great older brother to me.
    Have a blessed day.

This title got me in TB as I, like my father, have very spare eyebrows and at a certain age decided to live with it and put the eyebrow pencils in the bin. I loved this chuckle with my morning coffee. My husband had one bushy eyebrow, however thats because they met in the middle. A great read,

    Hello Pearl,
thanks so much for the great review gal, I'm glad you enjoyed this post. I inherited my dad's bushy eyebrows and have to keep them trimmed with a scissors weekly to keep from getting poked in the eye when I'm driving. All things considered, it's a fairly minor issue. At least I haven't shaved one or both off yet, but there's a first time for everything. An electric trimmer can be a dangerous tool in the wrong hads.
    Have a blessed evening.

    Hello Lisa,
For the most part my older brother was pretty good to me. I'm sure the temptation was more than he could stand though. Thank goodness the paint was watercolor and came right off. Thanks so much for the fine review. Have a blessed day.

You are so welcome. What I like is that when I read someones story or poem it often evokes memories and that is great.

Well, this is sounds like a hairy situation, or not, as the case may be. He'd be all right in a novel, though. Because everyone always seems to be raising one eyebrow. I'm sure the poor fellow will have been mighty comforted by all your suggestions.

    Hello Mr. fawcus,
I thoroughly enjoyed your review. I'm still waiting for a picture, but I doubt it will be forthcoming. I suppose I could probably trim my brows and send him down the clippings, priority mail. One person said he'd use a band-aid and say he'd cut himself. I like the eye patch myself. I think pirates look cool. Thanks so much for the great comments.
    Have a blessed evening.
