Another great read and hoping they are gonna get hitched, soon! So sorry I am a bit late reviewing today. I have been busy sorting my videos for some YouTube I will share soon. Some spags and some you might not necessarily agree with. "Jake, get my first aid[e] bag

deal with (a)few rumors

"My stomach was upset and (I)couldn't eat.

Yes, he better hurry up and marry Emma! He knew exactly what she needed and helped her after she fainted, nursed her back, and even sang with her at the service. He is definitely the one and his sister confided in her that it's true.
Personally, I think 3,000 words is too long for Fanstory but maybe you have enough dedicated readers to stay with it. I find fewer people review for even 2,000 words.

I have made that correction. I have had many reviewers comment they like the longer posts. I originally had it divided into two and changed it at the last minute.

It's still only just a little over a month since they met? Yet there has been a lot of dramatic action and their relationship has actually moved very fast. The dialogue is realistic, and detailed; It's just as they would speak in these circumstances. So very well done.

Barbara, this is a really great chapter you have penned. You used great descriptive and very good dialogue. I like this chapter a lot because it seems like Emma may be getting more feelings for Seth too! I look forward to reading more! love and blessings, Teri.

This chapter's story has lots of dialogue within. It is difficult to write many words and not have dialogue. Dialogue is fun to write when you know where your story is heading.

Thank you for the kind review. I prefer dialogue to move a story along and define the characters.

I was wondering when the physical toll of not eating or drinking would show up. This was a very realistic chapter . The dread of the finality of the funeral is something one dreads. The final goodbye. Well written. Gretchen

This is an excellent story, Barbara, and I catch up when I can. You use good imagery, descriptions, and dialogue, which carry your story along and keep it interesting for the reader. Your photo image enhances a reader's experience.

The ending was just... Awww.. So sweet! Thank you for sharing this.

Best wishes,

Alexandra :)x

Saying goodbye to someone you love is incredibly tough, but saying goodbye to someone who has been an integral part of one's existence in the vast majority of one's life, like your.Father, that is really tough, beautifully and tastefully written, well done, blessings Roy

I didn't find this overly long. It took a lot of courage for Emma to sing "His Eye Is on the Sparrow" as her father requested. That means she has more inner strength than she realizes. The Ernie Ford version certainly brings back memories. My family and I listened to him a lot. It's really dramatic that Emma faints from not eating or sleeping. It seems like with Emma it's more than love that's pushing her towards Seth. She's become overly dependent, and he likes taking care of her. They seem headed for marriage, but I'm wondering how it will turn out if she continues to be so dependent. Maybe she'll continue to mature. She has other people and her faith she can turn to. The loss of her father and her reaction has been very well described. You really bring the story to life. judi

The writing is good and instep with the rest of the book. Everyone is super nice, caring, and helpful. Emma, is loved, and taken care of when she is emotional and physical distress. Seth is there to save or catch her.

I think this will please your FanStory fans. It is a very pleasant and nice chapter.

So, the question is: Where does the story/plot go now?
