A talking frog, wow! The imagination worked overtime in this poem. Was he chopped to death? Ouch! It is getting spring around here and soon we will hear these creatures talking or chirping.

Interesting and creative. Frogs are often featured in fairy tales, but mostly as a good creature. I like the path you took, making the frog into a malevolent character. Best of luck in the contest.
