Your nonet describes the scene in enough detail that there is no reliance on the accompanying picture. It is strong enough to stand alone.
One of the things I like about nonets is the way they drill down to the final word. You have chosen a surprising and impactful end to sharpen the meaning of your poem and make it more than just a description of a bucolic scene. Very well done. I imagine this might catch the eye of the judges.
