I really like the ancient ethereal atmosphere of this piece. The structure and use of rhyme create a sense of order and the vocabulary choices reflect the mystery of the night. Good luck for the contest! :)

Only to be wakened to the mysteries that are trimmed with gold.
The format is perfectly composed and the rhymes at the end of each stanza give your entry that extra clout.
