This is lovely, and the picture of Posedion is very striking. Your story is very nicely fleshed out, and I appreciate that it remains PG. When are we going to hear more about Adam? I will keep reading. Karen

Adam is about to have a very prominent role as will several of the other children. Minor characters now will stand out. Funny you should bring him up, lol.
Yes, always PG, even for my Valentines chapter.

Thanks for continuing the journey with me,
    Hugs,
    Rhonda

An excellent chapter with some interesting background info revealed. I especially liked the part right before Theo carried her through the archway.

This opening sentence was a bit confusing for me:

Echo ran her hand along the smooth surface of an ornately carved archway. -- If it was ornately carved, would the surface be smooth? (Maybe just delete the word smooth?) Paragraph 4 indicates there is texture.

I am already eager to read the next posting! Smiles, Lily

Hi Lily! Thank you for the generous review, my friend!
I totally agree on your assessment of that opening sentence. I changed it and it sounds better, thank you so much for the tip!

Another fine chapter, Rhonda.....and talk about nerve racking, having to attend a meeting about who knows what, and having to walk down a staircase with others you barely know watching you, or not

Concorde Valley seems like a paradise, but Diantha is warning Echo that it isn't that simple. She is a human who was bought there for a reason and Echo is also there for a reason. You keep the reader reading just to find out that reason, and, of course, there a many interesting people to get to know.

Hi Carol. Thank you for the review and comments. You?re right about the paradise having some thorns in it.

I can't wait until Echo finds out what Theo and his dad wants to talk with her about. It sounds very important. I'm glad Diantha is from Echo's world so she can help guide her through this with understanding. I really like this story a lot and you're doing a wonderful job writing it. I'm already out of sixes.

I miss that part of life, men being chivalrous. Women's libber's went rather too far in their fight for equality. This was a lovely chapter, Rhonda, the descriptions of Phoebus, aww, I stopped breathing for a moment, and that Echo saw a glimpse of this hunky body in Theo, I'm sure was a delight for Echo. Perhaps that is how he will soon look. This was a fabulous read, Rhonda, I really enjoyed it. Well done, my friend. Sandra xx

I love the beautiful descriptions of the carving and the artwork, followed by the entry to the pool and the enlightening conversations that followed. What a gorgeous and enchanting place!

Exceptional, my friend. This one had another sweet (kinda hot, actually) moment between Theo and Echo. I really enjoyed the story of Diantha's life and romance with Phoebus before coming to Concorde Valley. More knowing and coming of age for Echo as this place heals her. Love is so healing.

Sending you my best today as always, and love across the bridge,
Sal XOs

I love the way you're mixing some myth and legend, and cleverly giving it some substance in your story, it's always smart to weave a knowledge of myth and legend into your narrative, it joins nicely with what you've already created Rhonda, well done, blessings Roy
