Thank you for sharing. My mom is taller than both her parents, and she's 5'2". I beat her at 5'4". My husband's family is tall. He's the short one at 6'1". Our four boys two are 5'11", they blame me. Another one 6'2" and the youngest 6'5". Height is an amazing thing, and your poem was a joy to read.

My husband's father was 6' 5" he was like a giant. His Mother was only 5' 2" and my husband was 5' 10". It is odd how height varies and how genes are passed on through the generations. I enjoyed your fine post Willie, love Dolly x x x

Lots of numbers in this poem! It's very humorous how you've gone through your family and ranked them in looks and height.
Just last night, my father was bemoaning the fact that he was 6 foot three after being 6 foot five all his life. I'm going to have to share with him your worry that eventually he may disappear. :-)
Your last line "I am now my oldest brother" reminded me of that old song "I'm my own grandpa"
Thanks so much for sharing. This was humorous and enjoyable to read! Julie
