Excellent

I really enjoyed this reflection on the nature of steady, constant, lasting love, unlike the "red" flare of passion that Valentine's Day so often trumpets but that often leads to heartbreak. I like the envelope reference at the end with its combined inference of a Valentine's Day card and love letters.

I did not know that milkweeds are called gentians
I like your poem
The thought of a milk weed giving out the romantic characteristics of romance is quite a love gesture.
