Sunset is my favourite time too.

When my father was still alive in Summer we would watch the sun retreat together and often he would sip on a glass of red wine. ( biggrin)

I love your choice of art work and the 3rd and 4 th stanza are my favourite.

This poem, Sunsets, paints a picture of surrendering skies rolling down to the horizon, while the married poet takes stock in life and all it affords the living.
