Hi Gypsy, it sounds like you've been in Arizona, I like the colorful italicized words, and the pictures proclaim loneliness in the form of a lonely, single cactus very well. Dove

A prickly pear cactus isn't much company but at least they have beautiful flowers, and you can eat parts of it. LOL Thank you for sharing this sad and passionate poem with us. I enjoyed the entire presentation.

Hi Gypsy,
very descriptive and well presented in colours and image. Two meanings one is both cactus or are they cacti (pleural) have the same problem lol or one could have been in the desert alone looking for a companion (metaphorically speaking )
Made me smile
Cheers Chris

The cactus said it all. Even nature wasn't offering any tenderness. The imagery was awesome. The night sky, dry arid air, a prickly cactus. Very visual. Gretchen

Hi Gypsy, I love the essence of this poem. The desert can be so beautiful, yet lonely. In Arizona, the desert actually blooms wild flowers in the spring. Sometime a prickly cactus might be a better choice vs. some people. Lol, but true. Beautiful presentation. Well done. Xo. M

Wonderful imagery, Gypsy!
Now something tells me that I shouldn't have smiled at the ending of your Gogyohka, but did! The image of a "prickly cactus" as one's only companion is stellar! (One of my grandson's favorite new stories is about a cactus that no one can hug because... well, you get the idea!)

Much enjoyed!
