So sorry to hear about your diagnosis. My prayers are with you. But you seem very upbeat, very thankful for the life you have lived, very thankful for the family around you. And that is wonderful. Great to hear that you will continue writing. Believe in the resurrection. estory

Thanks for sharing the photo and your story, Sarah. I am sorry to hear your news. You wrote a very good introduction letting us know some of the joys you experienced over the years. It is a lot. Just traveling around the world is huge.
I was glad that Debi posted her poem and that you not only appreciated that but also the reviews that readers left for you. It is one of the things that makes this community special. We care about each other. I am glad that the support has given you new energy.
I have a special place in my prayers for people on FanStory who need them. You will certainly be included. Take care of yourself. Thoughts and prayers are with you. I'd like you to know I admire your strength.

I am so sorry -- that's one difficult diagnosis, and your courage and attitude are simply amazing. I don't know if I could face anything as bravely.
You write this without the least sound of self-pity, your 'voice' strong and inspiring. May God bless you and keep you in His care. You are in my prayers. (I wish I still had a six to rate this flawless piece as it so deserves!)

I'm always late to everything, but I did finally get around to reading your post. I'm sorry to learn of your diagnosis. A close friend of mine was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer 3-years ago, but with modern medicine he is still with us and walks his dog every day. God does work miracles, and I hope he has one for you!

Hello, Sarah... I've been away from FanStory for a while and have just returned this week. I've not been blessed with the opportunity to meet and greet you before now, but I don't have enough words to praise you for your strength and fantastic outlook on life in general and your new journey. Your courage and upbeat attitude is a gift each and everyone of us should admire and strive to achieve. I pray that this transition in your life will go smoothly and you can remain in your home for a long, long time. Wishing you the very best. Hugs, Carol

The equanimity with which you relay this devastating news speaks to a great strength of character. I sincerely wish you peace as you embark on this new journey, and that you are surrounded by love.

I'm so sorry to hear this latest diagnosis, Sarah, but I'm very gratified to read that you're approaching this with the same courage and determination that have characterised your life thus far. I wish you all the very best and look forward to reading more of your fine posts on this site. Minor edit: last sentence - time and my energy level permit (plural without the 's') Take care Debbie.
