First of all, congratulations on the coming publication of your novel - very exciting.

I enjoyed this chapter. It sounds like there may be some of Emma's youth who are wrapped up in the wrong things; perhaps that is where her faith and social work will come in.

Thanks for sharing, Barbara.

It's nice to see that both of them are acknowledging the seriousness of the relationship now and not trying to hide it from anyone any longer.

I loved your observation about women constantly moving things around while men just put it up once and are satisfied. I also loved Emma's hint about marriage at the end with having Ace around on a more permanent basis.

Emma pulled off the tape, unfolded it, and (read) it out loud... missing word.

Thank you for the catch. I have added that word. I am pretty sure gremlins removed it. LOL I appreciate the help.

Great story. Who is your publisher? This is exciting.
Are you going to be going to libraries and give free readings and coupons to listeners? Call up local bookstores and give signings? Good luck with all of it. Karen

Well, this meth lab info was certainly a diversion in the story. I wonder where this is going?

A couple of places where I could spot missing a word-

Carl and I came (back) somewhere around two

Emma pulled off the tape, unfolded it, and (read) it out loud

Nicely written chapter.
Congrats on the publication news. That is exciting,

Cheers,
John

I really liked the length of this chapter. We were able to see a lot of the plot work out. Emma and Seth are getting more comfortable with each other, having worked out some of their differences before.

The youth group has had their event and it went off well.

Emma receives a mysterious letter about a Science Teacher making meth and using students to sell it. That needs to be dealt with, for sure!!

Great job, and best of luck on the new book.
Take care,
Rhonda

This is very exciting news about your book. Let us know when it's available. Please. This chapter was really good. I was glad that Charlie got the hint and Emma was at least honest with herself as well. I really enjoyed this. Gretchen

Hello Barbara,
this is getting pretty interesting. Emma seems to attract a lot of male attention, it might be beneficial to her that she's dating the chief. Jealousy can make people do stupid things. I'm wondering where this drug thing is going to go.
On a different note, congratulations on your book. It sounds like its going to be published. Well done.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

First of all, congratulations on your publishing. That's so exciting.

I love the way Emma and Seth are growing as a couple. They are so happy. I remember the feeling, it's so romantic (*รท*)

Well done.

This novel is satisfactorily bush-like now. Some subjects go on long, and others are arising as time goes on. One thing disappointed me here. You didn't say whether Seth was a winner with his darts+basket score, even though you'd gone to great lengths to set that answer up... one or the other choices should be changed. kay

He was a winner because he impressed Emma. LOL Otherwise he wasn't in the running for the competition. He was supervising it. Thank you for the kind review.
