This is a fascinating blend of poetic form and reflection upon reaching a significant milestone. There have certainly been ups and downs along the way but I believe that would be true of anyone who reaches this marker. Thanks for sharing this snapshot of the journey with us.

You have been incredibly honest here, Tom, and good for you. We all have the arguments, it's a boring marriage if it's all billing and cooing. And many have been divorced at least once! You got it right on the second time. As for reaching 75, you are two years younger than me! We are nowhere near to being over the hill yet! Lol. I enjoyed reading about your life, my friend. I enjoyed reading your words. You did well creating a biographical poem that touched upon all the highlights of your life. I admire your smooth rhyming of words that adds to the strength of your story. I like how you mention being captain of the bowling, football and golf teams. Your life has been full and in today's world, seventy-five is not considered as quite as old as in the past and oh, Happy Birthday!

You certainly unloaded my friend, I guess we all have some ups and downs. In our church once a month we have a banquet celebration, but before that instead of the normal preach we have someone give a testimony which occupies about 40 minutes, some if the testimonies are wonderful as to what God has dine with junkies, ex prostitutes etc. I thought I had a struggle in life, but these make mine look like a stroll in the park, but God has done great things, beautifully written, blessings Roy
