I like your advice of putting a timeline on the wall. It is a good idea, we can see progress or lack of. Your poetic form is smooth and I like how you mention fears, fears do keep us from goals. Congrats on winning the contest.

The poem does not hook attention of the reader. It doesn't flow nor creating image. It carries good message but don't deliver. Is very quiet and need reconstruction. The good thing that the last word of a sentence open the next sentence. Words order don't rises a spark to give a sentence the shape of a poem. The poem is in a style that lacks energy. It doesn't play with words but has a vision.

I see you are new. Welcome to fanstory, If you are going review on this site before you rate anyone you need to read the rating other people have written. Otherwise you will end up with eveyone blocking you and you want have a good experience on this site. A loop poem is different from other kinds of poems. You apparently don't understand the rules. Hardly anyone ever gives less than five stars to a writer.

Thank you Karenina. I know the feeling but once or twice I managed to keep a few of the ones I've made. This year I'd like to stop putting things off that need to be completed. I won't do them all, but some of maybe. At least, last year I managed to get two books in print.

Thank you so for a great review. My main resolution is to overcome my tendancy to put off the things I dread doing and get them out of way so they aren't hanging over my head.

A wonderful poem about the expectations for the coming year. We always want the bad experiences to not be repeated. It's difficult to tolerate the constant repeating, repeating. It's good to have new beginnings.
