Although your story is very funny I am also finding it quite educational and informative as you have mentioned I have not heard of before. Please keep on entertaining with your imaginative stories!

Thanks, Wendy. I'll do my best.
Comment from Debbie D'Arcy
This is a great story, Tom, and it could have been entered for a fantasy contest! It's got humour, great descriptive detail, all in a lovely imaginative package which I really enjoyed reading. I've no idea what nastification means but it doesn't really matter does it? An excellent ending as well. Keep up the writing, Tom! Debbie

In part 1 Tom says him and his girlfriend were "doing the nasty." Need I say more? I'm looking at contests right now. Thanks for the great review.

You should definitely enter with one of these stories if you can. I love this genre that you've found.

Alrteady done with Story Unlikely. Check them out,

Is that a contest brief? If so what's the date?

This was great. I haven't seen you before. You might enjoy my sci-fi story "Another day in Paradise."
Send out this notice to everyone you can. Jesse James Doty is going under the knife at 1pm Monday. The operation is on his neck. Dangerous. Please encourage others to pray or send good wishes if you can. They are trying to strengthen his neck so he will have less pain. Pass this along please. You can copy this and add it to you messages. Great idea and I very much enjoyed the continuation of this. I'm glad you finished it off with such wit and clever humour. I really fancy one of those sandwiches!

Sir Francis Bacon.... mayhaps, mayhaps.
He bought his cup up and I di mine and clicked - (did?)
I'm pretty sure wine would not touch my writer's block, though in my case, writer's block is nothing more than a bad case of the lazies, or 'frakes' as it's called in the Arkansas Ozarks.
Best wishes.

I love it! Once again, you combine a really interesting conversation with a fascinating historical figure with some 1980s (and early 1600s!) humour. It's a really fun combination. Whatever this magical portal is that you've stumbled across, I think it is the gift that keeps on giving. I look forward to more Dinerviews!

I very much enjoyed listening to this, and it kept me engaged the whole way through. I'm awed by your wording and your story. I wish you the very best with all of your writing. Have a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year. Patricia.
