The images are just unimaginable in your poem. They are so gorgeous. I know I have you before where you find your images. The words sound like someone is looking for their love.

This was beautiful. It made me think of Shakespeare and his Let me count the ways piece. Yours was simpler but make no mistake, it was rich and elegant. Felt from the heart. Beautifully written. Gretchen

    My poem brings you memories of Shakespeare.... what an honor... thank you. I know his writing was more sophisticated but I write in a more acceptable and relatable language. It's all the practice and experience I developed writing in Japanese poetry.

I love the permanence and eternity evoked by your imagery here. The love you describe is as ancient as geology and as ancient as the first watercourses. Love, in this context, is simply inevitable. Beautiful writing!
