Time can be such a precious commodity and perhaps, most often, the finest present one can be offered.

Saying the words, "I love you" is a commitment in and of itself. And after it goes unsaid beyond a certain 'threshold' point, to then use those words seems (to me) to cheapen what went on before. How do you say 'hello" to someone you have spent the last several hours and intimate moments with? It's awkward, to say the least.

I had the greatest wife I could imagine. When she passed away, we were both in the hospital, in different sections. As she got covid, despite all precautions, I couldn't see her and never got to say "good-bye". I'm thankful I told her every day that I loved her. Please do the same to your loved ones. You never know what Life has in store.
