How I remember those percolators! Company would always be served from it without exception. I remember once people at my church pondered whether they had coffee in the Bible days. The opinion was the trees were there, so probably, yes. What do you think?

I knew about the tea, but not the darker roast. It makes sense. I am an avid coffee drinker, but definitely not a snob. I'll take anything roasted. However, French press is hands down the best form of it. It preserves natural sweetness.

Thank you for sharing this. In Australia where I live, the coffee culture is pronounced and growing every day. There are so many varieties and flavours. I grew up making instant coffee from the tin. That is long gone now.
