An excellent entry for the Christmas Story Contest. Well done. I really enjoyed the modern take on the miracle of Christmas, mobile phones and all. Thanks for posting this and good luck with it.

What a wonderful parable of the nativity in Covid times, Ginda. This was beautifully done and so reminiscent of the actual nativity. Very nice portrayal of the actors and the scenes comprising this event including the phone messages to the three truck drivers simulating the following of the star in the east. Great job. - Jim

This is a good retelling of an old story Ginda. You've done it well combining the covid epidemic and the birth of hope in troubled times. Well done and good luck in the contest.
Cheers

Well, that's an up-to-date take. You are certainly creative. Ginda, this is good writing. Try as I might, I could not write one. Good luck in the contest. Karen

Send out this notice to everyone you can. Jesse James Doty is going under the knife at 1pm Monday. The operation is on his neck. Dangerous. Please encourage others to pray or send good wishes if you can. They are trying to strengthen his neck so he will have less pain. Pass this along please. You can copy this and add it to you messages. This is a very well written Christmas story for the contest. I wish I had six stars but I am all out. You used great descriptive words and my favorite part was this:
"A Child is born today. He shall be called Emmanuel."

Best wishes in the contest!!! love and blessings, Teri

This is a very well written and creative modern-day story of a special birth. A couple had to travel far, under hazardous conditions, to give birth to a baby, to find there was no room in the hospital (inn). Three truck drivers, led by GPS, traveled to the scene of the birth. Wow! I really enjoyed this story. Well done. Best wishes in the contest.

we will be monitoring you closely." I'm afraid your husband (remove quotation mark...the speaker continues to talk)
Their screens simultaneously indicated they they had arrived (remove one "they")

What an interesting twist on the Christmas story of the Three Wise Men. How enjoyable it is to see three modern truckers stopping at a diner and fretting over relentless incomprehensible but strident signals from their cell phones. And how ordinary is the family who take a winter drive, only to find that the pregnant wife is on the verge of delivery and needs to find shelter - along with the medical amenities that are present in a modern, overcrowded American hospital.

This is a really lovely modern nativity story. Mary and Joe in their old car get to the hospital tent in time for their baby to be born, while three men are plagued by their cell phones (replacing frightening angels) to go to the tent for a blessed event.

The original Christmas story set in modern time and instead of three kinga we have three truck drivers. Nicely written story. It could have happened this way if it hadn't happened a couple of thousand years before. Born in a tent rather than a stable because there was no room in the hospital. This is an unusual and creative story. Good luck in the contest.
