Love offers no promises. A roller coaster at best. Can't really find fault in any 'love story'. We can only seem to find that fault in ourselves. It is a fickle emotion that 'tasks' us everyday. Thanks for y sharing a bit of your ride.

I agree with your analysis. However, love is an essential emotion that may have a short life, but it does leave an undeniable and permanent mark on psyche and that may be reason why it tasks us everyday. Shakespeare's poem on 'love and admitting impediments', says it all. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and the ratings. All the best.

I know these feelings and love is a cruel game of cat and mouse and when we are caught up in it then it turns our whole world upside down, this is the nature of love, a fine post, love Dolly x x x

    Dolly Hi:
As a rule, I avoid sharing poems describing the personal feelings and episodes of successes and failures for obvious reasons of not unloading them on the readers, but this poem became a symbol of what you have so elegantly put. I appreciate your comment immensely. Thanks. With love, and best wishes,
    Arun.

I am not used to such openness. In my youth, I experienced different responses to such sharing, and they were not pleasant or with empathy. Becoming stoic saved me from despair. People in general, prefer to read happy ending. It doesn't mean your advice is not valuable; it doesn't seem to be palatable to me. Thanks, With best wishes,
    Arun
