a very nice Christmas story, Loren, with a lovely ending.
I'd like to tell you something, if I may, that was stressed at a Children's Writer's Conference I attended, and I hope you won't think ill of me. The instructor said, in every story, the protagonist has to actually solve the problem and be responsible for/cause the happy ending, after first, having his/her efforts thwarted in some way. What if, after she was mis-delivered, Rebecca asked to see the list and found out, herself, that there was another Sarah?

Well, Santa must know there are lots of children with the same name! Lol. I guess you needed to create that suspense to keep the story going. I like how you personified the doll who wanted to help Sarah.
