I have been a member of this site for a few years now, and from time to time I read a post that is new, fresh, and inspiring in a way that I have rarely if ever been inspired by. Your wonderful post qualifies as one such. My response is to gaze in amazement.

Sunsets are like miraculous paintings created by the hands of God. I have witnessed a few sunrises that had the same affect. Knowing that you are using your own photo enhances the experience gained through reading your lovely poetic lines.

This is a very well-crafted free verse, with good matching presentation. It seems to lay between a nature and spiritual poem, or at least there is a hint at the end. I think strike a good balance. This should touch many.

    We are doing better than ever. Our family is growing and have been enjoying our first grandchild and we now have another due in April. How are you? Please say, "wonderful", lol!
