Yes!
Leather, yes. Kindness is found daily in short bursts, there is still hope for humanity, but it seems distant. Greed! This has turned this world upside down.
Thank you for sharing.
God bless,
Steve

Thanks, Steve, for the review, and all those stars lined up so smartly.
I hope we can figure out how to stretch out those short bursts.

Me too, and my pleasure.

I get your drift and think it hip save for one thought, and it's not your fault, but now I must type 150 characters for something that only has 57 characters? Have we lost our minds?

I hope you have a productive day.

I agree with everything you've said in your insightful poem. It truly does seem like this world has gone crazy. I long for my childhood days of normalcy. Best of luck in the contest.

Thanks for your review, all the stars, and good wishes. I, too, long for my childhood days. Mine may have come before yours, as I'm well into my seventies, but I remember sewing doll clothes, hula hoops, pop beads, and reading many books.

A well written poem. I like how you have written the word 'kind' in capital letters. A very pertinent poem in the troubled times of today. I wish you the very best in the contest.
With kind regards

I love your reviews no matter how you rate me because I always get a blessing. However, thank you for the review and all the stars you just sent. Yep, there must have been some ripple effect from the Garden that's hard to overcome. Thanks for reading.

Bless you

Sadly, we live in a Me Me world where kindness and compassion only come into play when in involves something that matters to us. And yes, sometimes I think we've lost our minds, which were shaky from the beginning. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Ric, for the review and all those stars. I hope we can shake our minds back in place before we do ourselves in as a human race.
I intend to read one of your recent entries in the next few days. I need some inspiration for writing longer pieces.

Chapter 9 of my Tucker series is up now and paying well. Plus it's only about 1,100 words. :-)

Sounds good.

Good question, have we lost our minds? When ego and greed intercede then the results are sadly loss of kindness overall. I love your word choices. They show wisdom and intelligence. And the title Let Love Grow is compelling and right to the point.

Thanks, Jesse, for your review and all the stars. Your comments appealed to my ego --I have to admit. Who wouldn't want to be described as 'wise' and 'intelligent?' LOL

Yes, who wouldn't?
Comment from Judith B.
Poets amaze me. You say so much and have such an important idea expressed here. It is particularly relevant to our current world but would be equally relevant to any time in history. WELL DONE!

Thank you so much, Judith, for all the stars, the review, and comments. I don't think of myself as a poet--I doubt I could write anything that required four stanzas. But, I try short little things like this.
I have a note on my calendar to email "Judith" about how to get started on adding pictures to entries. Are you that Judith? If so, I should have sent you some hints last week. if so, were they of any help?
Best wishes.
-
Yes, I am that Judith and I got the information. I have not had enough time to use it! I have saved it and hope to be able to make use of FanArt with my next post. Thanks for helping me with the information you sent.

You're welcome. If you want, let me know how how it goes or send me a question. I am far from an expert, there is so much to learn, but I will do my best to help.
Comment from Navada
There are a lot of clever things at work here. The visual image contrasts the wisdom of the elderly with the innocence of the young to demonstrate the important things that are threatened when people fail to act kindly. The internal rhyme of "greed" and "intercede" flows beautifully and the final question places some responsibility on readers to think about and address our own behaviour. Good luck for the contest.

Thank you, Navada, for the detailed review and all the stars--also for the good luck wishes, I appreciate the comment about how the poem flow--that's helpful.

It certainly does seem that we have lost our minds. I don't think mankind will ever sadly be just kind; we are doomed to never learn from our mistakes, but I suppose there is always hope. A well written piece. Good luck in the contest.
