Hi Wendy,
As I read your letter to God, I thought of Isaiah 53:6,
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."
It also caused me to think of this war between Israel and Hamas, hatred that has killed around 10,000 innocent Palestinians, nearly 4,000 of them children. If Israel doesn't stop their revenge, the fighting could spread to other countries... as if Ukraine is not enough in this world. Surely Israel must know that this is going to end up in antisemitism around our little planet. That's going to be the by-product of this war.
This is a powerful letter. I'd highlight a couple of portions...
"We've lost the truth. That's been collateral damage of our arrogance - arrogance because we think we know best, can live without You, are not responsible to You, and don't want to believe in You."
and,
"You offered free choice to love you, and we claimed that free choice - and most of us chose not to love You, yes, refused to love you. Now people don't want You or any thought of You to hinder their hedonism."
and,
"Why are we content with tokens of spirituality, rather than yearning for Your Holy Spirit to fill us?"
Your letter should be in the newspaper, newspapers around the world. It's past time for us to wake up and smell the coffee. Our heads are buried in the sand. Armageddon is sneaking up on us.

Thank you for sharing this letter to God contest entry with us. Yes, we have made a mess of things and all of us should be down on our knees asking for forgiveness.
I used to tell my first graders when they explained their rights to me. "Your rights end where another person's rights begin." Good luck with the contest.
