Thank you for your prayers. So very much valued and appreciated. He has drained more than 3200mL from his lungs now. More than 5 pints. No wonder he was having trouble breathing. He?s still on high flow oxygen though. Thank you so much for your caring review.

This is such a moving post and clearly shows the love and compassion of everyone involved in this young man's care. It's also so very sad that he has this condition in the first place, but is handling it in such a brave way. Wishing you all thanks for taking such good care of him!

Hi Wendy, I'm so sorry you've been going through such a difficult time with your foster son. I was not aware of that. Yes, you're lucky to have the same healthcare for all as we do here in Europe,and completely free of charge. We pay it through our taxes.

Thank you Ulla. Yes, very thankful for our medical system, and for the caring staff, always so cheerful. He?s doing a little better, may be able to go onto low flow oxygen soon. Yes very tired. Going now to see my birth son who also had surgery this morning.

Thank you Mike! What a beautiful and caring review, which I greatlly appreciate. Today he was asleep for the whole time I was there, breathing more easily, and with less oxygen help. So far 1350 mL from the left lung and 1650 mL from the right lung!

Thank you so very much Tom. Have just returned from the hospital and he is sleeping peacefully having lost nearly 1500mL from the left lung as well now. They asked for his wheelchair to be brought in so tomorrow or Tuesday he might be sitting up for a few minutes - after a month in bed. God is helping us all. Many thanks.

That's good news Wendy. That's a lot of fluid to have in one's lungs. It's a wonder he could breath at all. Please keep us updated, and let him know that you Fan Story family is praying for you all.
